111-room, all-suite hotel expands Onvo’s hospitality footprint and brings new energy to Northeast Pennsylvania
Pottsville, PA (November 13, 2025) – Onvo, a Northeast Pennsylvania-based travel plaza chain, proudly celebrated the grand opening of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Pottsville with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour on November 13. Members of the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce, Onvo leadership and local community partners joined to commemorate this milestone moment in Onvo’s continued expansion across Pennsylvania.
The 111-room, all-suite, extended-stay hotel offers guests a modern experience just off Exit 119 on I-81 – combining comfort, convenience, and local hospitality. Located in the heart of Highridge Industrial Park, the hotel provides easy access to major distribution centers as well as downtown Pottsville, the Yuengling Brewery tour, area wedding venues, and other regional attractions – making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Onvo’s investment in the community was also displayed through a couple of donation announcements. Onvo presented a check for $2,500 to the local AMVETS to support their Gordon Memorial Park project. They donated an additional $2,500 to support Cass Township.
The hotel which will create 30 additional jobs and is part of a larger development by the company which includes a flagship Onvo travel plaza, which opened in 2024. The travel plaza features a modern convenience store, Burger King, showers, laundry facilities, Onvo’s “Food on the Fly” made-to-order menu, handcrafted coffee program, and the area’s first Barking Lot dog park. Together, the plaza and hotel create a one-stop travel destination where visitors can fuel up, refresh, and rest – all in one convenient location.
